Asking double premium after taking policy

I have taken iLife insurance policy from Aviva, my proposal no - NUP75017608.and paid my premium of Rs 13593/- and done medical test.


after medical test asking to to pay additional premium of Rs 13678 to proceed proposal further. without any reason . I am doing my master health checkup my own and did not find any problem.


I asked to send why you increased my premium, if any problem in medical report then send me report copy back to me as proof.


I got reply from onlinepolicy@avivaindia.com on Aug 2, 2011 at 4:01 PM: Dear Mr. Rajesh,


We hope this mail finds you and your family in the best of health.


We regret for the inconvenience caused.we would like to inform, you that reason for revised premium was due to medical reports received to us.Your request for medical synopsis has been forwarded to the authorities.You will get back the medical synopsis within 24 to 48 hrs.


We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with you.

Team Aviva


But never received any medical synopsis.


I refused to pay additional Rs 13678 then they closed my policy and refunded my paid premium after fighting a lot.


So, Dont go for this iLife insurance policy.
