Don’t trust aviva life insurance company. It’s worst insurance company, doing fraud.I am policy holder of aviva life insurance and I have surrendered my policy on 1st nov’11 and they confirmed me the amount which is going to be credited in my account. I have submitted all the required documents at aviva life insurance office, andheri east mumbai branch and aviva staff confirm me about the documentation.after 20 days of surrendered.
I received letter dated 12 nov’11 that address proof was missing on 21st Nov’11 mentioning that document has to be submitted at any aviva office within 10 days of the date of this letter else my surrender request will be declined and the surrendered amount will be calculated whenever document will be received. I have submitted address proof on the same day 21 Nov’11 (9th day of the letter).but before 10 days they have declined my request with my concent and calculated surrendered value for 23rd Nov’11 which was quite less then the surrendered value compare to 1st nov’11.
Whenever i asked the question why they have declined my surrendered request without my consent instead i have submitted documents within 10 days.they replied we have received address proof on 23rd nov’11 however i have submitted document on 21st nov with undersigned date.
