I have purchased online Policy(i-life) on April 11, 2013. I have given my blood and spent my time doing medical test for that policy. The medical reports and all other documents were sent to AVIVA on April 13. Post that- no one from AVIVA reached out to me for the policy update.
I spoke to couple of people there- Mr. Pankaj Khanna, Mr. Chunky Bhargava and Mr Manish Mahajan- so called employees of the Company. These people never use to respond me correctly on my status of policy. Everytime- they use to provide me some or the other excuse. They tried testing my patience and temper. I called them cheater and Fraud while our conversation on April 24, when there was not satisfactory response from their side.One of the executive provided me his cell number- stating he can be reached for any query, but when I asked for status he threatened me not to call and he will proceed legally for so many follow-up and calling them cheater and fraud!
Never expected that the employees in AVIVA can be so rude and pathetic. They never responded to my email in positive manner. They always mentioned- "we are looking after your policy and will be issued soon." In anger I asked for my money back considering no proper response, now they say that it will be refunded in 10-15 days? Why?
I believe this is one of the case where you cannot sit relying on AVIVA. I am not sure if they are in this practice when the insurer is alive- what they will serve to nominee!
