Customer service section is believed in most of the organization only to help their customers. Somehow this purpose is defeated in almost all organization at least few branches if not all even though all customers have not been affected.
The reason is probably the posted persons might be slake enough not to do work or trainee or temporary employee working for short period or less paid. These people will not give much attention rather they themselves curse by thinking all negatively triggered events.
There is neither target fixed nor appreciation over the work done for them. That results Easy-going attitude. That is what I felt.
Some places daily meeting /monthly meeting will take place with users and service supporters. This helps out to solve most of the problem even during meeting itself.
I have little friction with AVIVA customer service and it will probably lead to foresee closure of insurance policy taken four years before..
Last year, I closed my SB account in ABN AMRO Bank for the simple reason that they had happily deducted Rs 250 every month for about 10 months, just because minimum balance was not maintained.
Closing account reflected in AVIVA insurance policy as I opted payment mode through “bank request”. so, gave a letter for direct payment as advised by Aviva staff.
Now the problem is surfaced .The Due date for next premium was 29-01-2008. *I gave a cheque personally on 24-01-2008 to Aviva staff. She gave me acknowledgement. No receipt was received even after 10 days. Instead, I got a reminder letter on 11-02-2008 informing of the next due date i.e. on 29-02-2008.
I rushed to their office on the same day and showed the letter to the person who deals. She expressed that her senior refused to process the cheque as mode of payment was bank request. They should have updated my profile last year itself. They did not do it. Now, Who is the responsible?
Hence, She took my signature on a declaration form for direct payment.Mean while she talked some one who told her to accept cheque for further processing.
But, there is no progressed made yet.On the other hand I received emails from them saying the same story…
Then, I requested them to close the policy if they could not resolve it.
Due date has gone.
A cheque for the premium is still with them and not yet deposited.
My profile has the same summary in their web site...
No update done…
This is funny way of doing the work. It is not known how they are going to settle the money paid once it is closed or reached matured. I doubt they will close smoothly.
Customer care section does not actually care customers
