The texture of nail paints are very rich, they apply easily, dry off quickly and doesn’t not chip. I love their pastel shades collection too. Try Avon and you will not use any other brand ever.
The color chart is widely ranged so there is a color for just about anyone! The only negative is that it cost almost 4.00 a bottle! Thank you.
The nail polish bottle itself is quite large in size; 12 ml for 2.5 R.O. i.e. Rs. 250 . The regular price is around R.O. 3.8 or Rs. 380 . It is quite expensive for nail colours, but much more affordable when compared to drugstore brands like Bourjois, Revlon, MaxFactor, L’oreal, etc. I ordered my Avon polish in the colour’Deluxe Chocolate’ - a shimmery dark almost vampy brown+maroon, which when applied on the nails gives a goldenish sheen. The colour is definitely pretty and attracts one’s attention. Unfortunately the quality of Avon’s NAILWEAR PRO doesn’t live up to its claims of "Up to 10-day wear".
The reason I would recommend others to try Avon’s nail polishes inspite of the chipping is that it lasts on the nails for a longer time than other similar products from Maybelline, Rimmel, Lakme, Maxfactor, Oriflame, etc. Only Revlon & Lancome’s nail varnishes have surpassed Avon’s in quality & anti-chipping claims.
Final grade- B+, I wouldn’t suggest Avon’s NAILWEAR PRO if you’re accustomed to nail paints from OPI, MAC, NARS, YSL & Chanel.
The essentials collection has these amazing shades of browns and pinks that one can never get bored of and the metallic hues look really good too. The texture of essentials is thick and gives a smooth effect. I would recommend these as a must buy for everyone. These make great gifts anytime and for if you are not much of a person who ventures into coloring nails you have these tiny bottles that one could start with which has a fresh line of light pastel shades.
