Worst Experience With Home Loan Dept of Axis bank

Back in 2014 I took home loan from Axis Bank. My loan account number was PHRXXXXXXXX3963. Initially when I contacted the home loan department, they assigned one person for the process. That guy used to come till my home for all the loan process and signing the documents. The loan for sactioned within 1 week. The loan approved amount was less than what I required that time. Though I continued with it and started to pay EMI.


Later on I thought to contact the bank to increase my loan as my salary also increased. So I called up the same guy who processed the loan. But he didn’t pick up. Somehow I contacted him and he was just ignoring. I called up the Bank manager and told him that I want to increase the loan amount. But he refused saying that I need to pay at least 18 EMIs to be eligible for top up. These are the things which Bank and the Bank person never communicated to me. Also whenever I wanted to get the loan statement having principle and interest amount, I needed to request to bank through email. There was no online banking to check the loan account.


Finally I decided to transfer my loan to other bank. The day I requested the balance transfer application in the bank, Bank manager immediately asked me not to transfer the loan and they wanted me to continue with Axis only. They agreed to top up my loan through other products. But I had already decided not to continue with Axis any more and did a balance transfer to other bank where I am still getting good service.
