I would like to share my experience with axis bank officials in my town(Howrah). If you want to open an account with this bank, they will come to your home and do all the documentation. Once, your account is opened and functional, they will start showing their true color.
I did a fixed deposit against my grand mother’s name who is a senior citizen. They did not gave me the interest rate as per her age. They didn’t pay heed to my complaint until I met the manager. Manager convinced me that the issue will be resolved and I will get the difference amount credited to my account at the start of every quarter.
Every quarter, I have to send them multiple reminders to deposit the difference amount to my grandmother’s account.
They behaviour is also very inappropriate, as if I owe them money.
I would recommend everyone to refrain yourself from using services of this bank.
