Their is something that I have to share. I had opened an account with axis bank.. I visited an axis bank branch gave them my pan card copy and mobile bill and filled the application form.
After 10 days I got a call from a person residing in my colony and he told me that there is something from axis bank that came to his residence. It was my cheque book and debit card. Same day I got the call from courier company and somehow I managed to get it.
Actually what happened was that they had written 3/f instead of 31f and the later is my flat no. This is a serious fault and everything like my netbanking pin was sent at the wrong address. I contacted Axis Bank and they told me that it has been rectified. But still I had to go to the branch to collect these things. I had to wait for more than two hours to get my stuff although there were very few customers. I had sent a mail to the operation head of the branch around 15 days back and stil waiting for a reply from him..
Even for opening my account I had to wait for 3 hours before somebody could help me. I spoke to almost everyone and they asked me to wait for some more minutes. I need an account in axis bank as the fee of my university can be paid by this bank and credit card or icici or corporation. In icici the AQB is 10000/- and in axis its 5000/-
If you call them at their branch nobody picks up the phone and their contact centre operates only during banking hours.
This is ridiculous.
