While all the other major banks like HDFC and ICICI have the facility of sending passwords ie debit card pins etc through courier or post, the very stupid UTI bank has an amazingly strange policy of handling over the debit card pin to its customers only when the customers walk in to the branch.
In the so busy Mumbai, people do not have to time to leave their offices and go to the Branch, the Stupid UTI bank expects its customers to visit the Branch.
I have recently opened a bank account with UTI bank and I am repenting for the same. I wish I would have not opted for this bank.
When you call the Call center of this bank, the executives will pretend to be so very polite giving you a very long description while they take the call, but instead of doing such a thing, they should try to ease out things for their customers instead of putting then in a problem.
