I could not curb myself to write to you after getting the poor service from the customer support of the Axis bank when I am a four years old customer of yours and got such a useless and pathetic response. The real story started when I was withdrawing an amount of Rs. 17000 from the axis bank’s ATM on 4th of June, however, to my dismay, the amount did not come out from the ATM machine and got shocked at once to see that.
This transaction happened at night somewhere around 9:30 pm. Hence, could not complain you since your call center operation works only for 9: am to 9: pm. Therefore, I complained in the next morning for it. The lady named Priyanka assured me that the transaction would be reversed back in the next 7 working days and it happened too within the time period. I was amused to see the customer service from the private bank.
Now, the undeniable thing came in to this picture. I received an unexpected message on 12th of June from Axis bank stating that my account has been debited of Rs. 14200. I was astonished to see that since my ATM card was with me, neither had I issued any Cheque nor did any online transaction. I promptly called your customer care and got to know from your supervisor named Dinesh that my transaction which was happened on 4th of June was a successful transaction, thus we have deducted the amount from your account and will also deduct the rest amount of Rs. 2800 as soon as your account gets occupied with this amount. I tried to convince him, although he was not ready to listen anything and asked me to wait for 48 hours. Yesterday, his given time frame has been over and he did nothing. I am still waiting for my amount to be refunded.
My Questions from you are:
If the transaction was successful, then why had you refunded the amount at once and then again debited the amount from my account without giving me any prior intimation?
When I called your customer care, why did your supervisor say that we have checked it with our accounts team that your transaction was successful? Why did you not check at first go before refunding me?
If nothing could have happened, why your supervisor had asked me to wait for 48 hours and gave lame excuses?
As far as I am concerned, my transaction was utter failure and got nothing from the ATM on 4th of June. I am constantly following up with you to get my amount refunded and wasting my time.
I would request you to please have a look into this matter deeply and resolve my case as early as possible. Else, I also know the complaint matrix of Axis bank. If I would not get any proper revert from you within 48 hours, I would be forced to file a complaint to the Honourable Reserve bank of India Grievance cell.
At last, I am your four years old customer and such things never occurred with me in the past. I am expecting a proper and a positive swift reply from you.
