35 K were debited from my account. The bank identified the fraud promptly. It has been 12 days since, but I am not receiving any updates from them.
You would think that such cases would have priority, since its a security lapse from the bank side which is supposed to keep out money safe. but from the way they are handling this, it seems that I am asking them for new passbook or something.
I do not trust axis bank to keep our money safe and even lesser to remedy the fraud that has taken place due to lapse in their security system. Strongly advice people not to entrust axis bank with their money.
