I don’t care what good things other people say about this bank but I had a really bad experience at this bank not because of the bad behavior but the irresponsible attitude of the staff and employees. I was told by one of my friends to get an account open at his bank as how good the services are and also some good offers they give during shopping.
So I went to the bank the next day and got my account opened with 15000 balance in my account and got my checkbook and the debit card after that. I was curious that I was not getting any SMS about my account so I called up and they said I haven’t activated it. So I asked them to do so.
After 4 days I got an SMS that 6000 rupees were debited from my account but I didn’t do so and also the card was with me, not sure what happened I went to the bank and enquired. They They said I debited the amount but I didn’t and after arguing for 20 mints th bank Manger said it will be taken care of.
For 5 days I was worried what had happened and the next day I got call saying sorry for the inconvenience as due to error the amount was deducted and now its credited again. I was really surprised by such irresponsible behavior as if I had not activated SMS service I wouldn’t have known what happened. I got save because of my cautionary actions.
Not wanting to take risk of happening such thing again I closed my account even after them assuring it won’t happen but still I didn’t wanted to take risk. It might be a good bank for others but a bad experience for me.
