Axis bank, formerly called UNIT TRUST OF INDIA bank, is a bank without trust. They misguide gullible customers into taking product and do not provide any services as promised. I was issued a credit card with a promise of a free return air ticket to any destination of my choice . The joining and annual fees was around 1800. I made the payment in the subsequent month and after 3 months from joining I requested for air ticket.. I was asked to provide with three destinations and three dates!!!! Is it possible or practical to give three dates of travelling to three different places.
Anyway, as I had no choice I sent the coupon. After months of waiting and repeated reminders I was finally sent a return ticket voucher by e mail and was asked to pay 4500 rupee as service charges. I complained at their help line no.s as I was told initially that the air ticket is totally free. Since then I have requested them to return my joining fees but they have failed to do so. They are sending statements every month with late charges.
I warn all potential card desirer to take card of any bank but axis bank. One will surely repent
