Stay away from Ayur shampoo!!

Hi all,

I was looking for some nice herbal shampoo from India. I don’t really like the shampoos in the US coz everything has Sodium Laureth Sulphate and it’s harsh to my hair. So, I went looking for a good shampoo in an Indian store and discovered Ayur shampoo. The label looked very convincing and I thought it should be good since it’s purely herbal (well I guess so!). They didn’t have a list of ingredients added to the shampoo which they should have. I bought Ayur(soya protein) and Ayur(reetha, shikakai, amla) assuming there won’t be any harmful chemicals. After using it a few times, my scalp started to itch terribly and I started having dandruffs. I dunno what they add to it but it’s really harmful to our scalp. It’s not at all gentle and it’s extremely harsh. It made my hair to fall in lumps. I was really disappointed and went back to the store but this time, I bought Nyle herbal shampoo(brown) and it’s simply awesome!!! Try it and u’ll love it for life. You should also try Himalaya’s protein shampoo. It’s superb!!! Really gentle on our hair and I would say ’it’s definitely 100% ayurvedic’. I was able to see the difference in my hair when I started using it. It made my hair soft, lustrous and beautiful. I tried looking for it in NY but can’t find it anywhere. Hope someone would start selling it soon here. :)
