The story revolves around a 40 year old widowed women (Sundari) who toils harder to upbring her 3 children(Mathi, Natraj & Sooriya) .
She untiringly works in many households to make both the ends meet & at the same time fulfill her children’s requirements.
As usual, as the serial norms suggest, woman(Sundari in this case) serves to be the protoganist of the play.
The plot:
The plot’s strength rests on the long-term rivalry between Sundari & her brother-in-law(Durai), who happens to be the antagonist of the play.
Sundari is been tactfully ripped off & necked out of the house along with her kids, once her husband passes away after meeting with an accident.
She leaves the house, challenging Durai that she would upbring her children & withstand all the difficulties on her own feet.
All this is narrated by Sundari in a flash-back mode.
Durai, is now(20 yrs after the flash-back :-D) a well established buisness man who owns many shopping malls & multi-storeyed buildings, which he had acquired through his brother’s wealth as a source.
Durai’s wicked nature always prompts him to dig pits for Sundari’s children inorder to let the latter down.
As fate has designed, initially only the youngest daughter(Sooriya) turns out to be loyal to her mom.
She reciprocates the love & shares the pain that her mom undergoes for them.
The other two’s(Mathi & Natraj) behaviour only torment her further.
But, the tides do change for Sundari.
But the change doesn’t seem to be static as there are many ups & downs, but the final result good triumphs over evil is well known.
It’s quite clear that the maker’s simply want to drag the useless stuff, whirling around the same concept.
=This is again to target & retain a specific group(the unproductive community) who would cling to it out of foolish & extravagant fascination.=
This show is in the verge of completing it’s 400th day & ready to enter the penta or quinque century race.
It’s aired in the TV at late night & my entire family(esp. mom & dad) are completely addicted to it.
They all remain glued to it, from the time it kicks off until it terminates & so does many households(in TN), as I guess :-P .
I, unescapably was trapped by the show & was thus victimised for 2 years, by now.
But today, I managed to relinquish myself from the chains of it as, I realised it’s high time to do so:-) .
I personally feel the youth, the student community, the productive working community & the children should strictly stay away from such untrodden telecasts.
No doubt, these shows posses the power of turning sane personnel into insane.!
My intention behind penning this one is to paralyse others from getting infected from such kind of genre now & in the future.
