Now, the cricket lovers got to know how & why a great Captain of Indian Cricket Team was banned to play for fixing matches in return of money. Mohd. Azharuddin was a very famous captain in 1980’s & there was some confusion in the mind of people about him. Emraan Hashmi as Mohd. Azharuddin & Prachi Desai as Naureen ( his wife) played fantastic roles in movie.
Lara Dutta as opposite lawyer Meera & Nargis Fakhri as famous actress Sangeeta look good all the way in film. Also Kunaal Roy Kapoor as lawyer Reddy is a surprise to audience as he made a nice presence in story. There is no moment of boring at all. The songs Bol do na zara, Itni si baat hai, Tu hi na jaane are pretty to listen.
Actually when Azhar becomes famous after representing Indian Cricket Team as a captain, he is approached by a diamond merchant of London to fix the match against Sri Lanka. Azhar accepts it but he brings India to a nice win & returns all the money to that merchant. Lawyer Meera puts the case against Azhar on the basis of sting operation tapes but lawyer Reddy challenges that the witness without oath has no existence at all. In this way, Azhar wins the case finally. There are also romantic scenes between Sangeeta & Azhar in the movie. So, I liked the movie very much. I suggest all the movie lovers to watch it once in the theatre.
