A Slow Story but Great performances

This movie is not for the youngsters, I came to know of it only after the first half.

Oh my God, kya movie yaar, the first half runs away showing years pass by in secs and then the second half is just like the snail. I should admit, I was sleeping in the second half.

After all, one can agree to the fact that, Salman had a GREAT screen presence. Somebody please go and tell that good screen appeal doesnt come if one has good muscles. To whom, ofcourse the other muscle man in the movie, John.

Salman’s performance was good, to the mark. He leaves all people aghast by the end of first half. And then the second half is taken over by John who cant even deliver his dialogues well. Not blaming him all, atleast he put up a decent performance compared to his other ones.

Well coming to the story, its pretty obvious one, with the audience guessing the next scene and even the dialogues(We had a nice time in the hall guessing the next dialogue). A father, who is ready to do anything for his son at the same time, challenges him. As father- in- law he gets into the gal’s father’s shoes. Amitabh can do only fabulous performances that also which such an ease.

The daughter in law is Rani, let me introduce you to Rani Mukherjee.

You’ll find her so different in the movie, she is a darling in the movie, and she performs too good. Her best friend is John. There is another heroine in the film, Hema Malini, who looks much better with every passing film. I was all eyes whenever she came around.

The movie has promoted a new brand of apparel and jewellery on large scale and you can have a look at how trends are moving from mere silver and gold to Stones. Well at last I can say it as

not good and not very bad.
