Baaghi is an Action Filled Bollywood Film, Starred by Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, Sudheer Babu etc. The film consists great action sequences As I mentioned in the title but lacks a good story line and everything else! This could have been a much better one but turned out to be just a "One Time Watch"!
When I watched the trailer, I was super excited, watching Tiger doing the stunts all by himself is something pleasuring(in a way that Bollywood finally has a Action Hero who does his Stunts himself!). I was just awaiting to see Tiger in action, I was not expecting much gripping story from the movie, as it’s not seemed to be! But in the end I feel it could have been much better!
The story is about Rony(Tiger Shroff) who comes to Kerala to learn Martial Arts, on the way he accidentally meets Sia(Shraddha Kapoor) they fall in love with each other. On the other hand the same Martial Arts institute Tiger Joined, The best student from there Raghab(Who is a Powerful Man as well as an Extreme Fighter) falls in love with Sia too.
Now how Raghab and Rony fights over and How Rony Saves Sia from the hands of the Very Powerful & Rich Raghab That’s all the story is.
Seems pretty the same thing right? the same formula of saving your lover from the villain yeah that’s right story is indeed ordinary, nothing special but the Action Scenes the Martial Arts made this film worth watching.
The action scenes are the main highlight of the film, Tiger has done his job marvelously, He nailed the action sequences but lacked in the emotional scenes! So yes he had to improve in that(And I feel He will soon, As he has that Potential in him, to be a Star!). As for the performances, All of them done just ordinary nothing much, some over reactions, unnecessarily Loud Dialogue Deliveries, Uncanny Emotional Scenes! And the Run time is in my opinion dragged a lot(over 2 Hours and 12 Mins).Could have been much shorter!
Cinematography is Nice, Direction is All right, Music goes well with the film but nothing memorable though!
Overall I would say, this was strictly an One Time Watch, If you are willing to go for a Cinema this weekend, wanna hang out with your friends, spend some quality time with your loved ones you can surely go! And For Tiger Shroff & Shraddha Fans It’s a small treat for them so go watch it but don’t keep much expectations; especially from the story line or even performances! Go for the Actions.
