Now my review might be a little different from the rest. Let me start with the plot - The movie discloses why Kattappa killed Bahubali and how Amrendra Bahubalis son - Mahendra Bahubali avenges his fathers death. The plot looks enchanting. Talking about the performance, each character was at their best. They played their roles loyally. Music - that thunderous music gave goosebumps, especially the bharat natyam music thats played in dances. Cinematography is absolutely awesome. Nothing that is shown is real, but you can not make out the difference between real and fake. 100% credits to the cinematographer. Some of the scenes are so much impact that it will make you stand up and clap. Everyone is shown absolutely very powerful, and you will get a feel of watching a world class Hollywood movie.
Now the cons. I was watching the movie very carefully and I found flaws, unlike others. The Bahubali father son has striking resemblance - how is it even possible? Does it mean that no mothers genes were propagated in him? Does it mean that his mother did not contribute at all in his birth? Ok lets park that aside. The war technique like single person handling hundreds and hundreds of opponents has been a trend of defying fight physics in Indian cinema from years. All are armed, not that they are unarmed. Mahendra makes a strategy that highly qualified scientists would not even be able to think of. Bend a coconut tree, climb upon, ask more to climb, hold hands, and release the tree, to jump into a highly armed castle. They fly as high as a rocket and land without a bruise. Which physics on earth allows that? While romancing, and even in other scenes, the characters start talking peacefully in the middle of a war. No one touches them. Wow. Again, Amrendra bahubali is pierced with at least 10 arrows inside out his body, still he fights. By the arrow head, he is able to break Kattapas thick metal chains. The arrow fight scene with actress has another mistake - the arrows never cease to end. They kill almost 50 people, and the quiver seem to have max 20 arrows. They never end man!
Final word - if you are going with an entertainment mindset, you will be cent percent entertained. But if you go thinking about weather this can be practically done or not - you will laugh your butts out. But considering that movies are meant for entertainment, I would request you to go watch it!
