Baahubali 2 is more of a prequel than squeal of Baahubai 1: The beginning. The movie starts with Satyaraj narrating"and aswering the viwers one question that has been hanging on since 2015 "Kaatapa ne Baahubali ko kyun maara"
Baahubali is on the verge of taking over the throne of Mahishmati. As a customry practise, Rajmata wants Baahubali to go length and breath of the kingdom to see various issues that people are facing, understand the cultural differences which will help him lead the kingdom better. Baahu along with Kataapa move around the country and land in a village when Baahu first sees Devsena(Anuska) and he falls for her. He and Katappa find comic reasons to move with Devasena to their kingdom. Meantime, Baaladev is being appraised by his men that Baahu has fallen for Devasena. Baaladev then convinces Rajmata of his desire to marry Devsena. Rajmata is unaware of Baahu being in love for her promises Baala that she will have him marry to his love.
Devsena sends back all the wealth and precious items sent by Rajmata as marriage proposal with an insulting letter. Rajmata sends message via a bird to Baahu to capture Devsena. Baahu promoses Devsena that he will marry her inspite of any revolt from his kingdom. On reaching Mahismati, Baahu informs Rajmata that he will be marrying Devsena. This results in Rajmata getting upset and over turns her decision to make Balladev, the new King and Baahu to be cheif of the army.
Meantime, Balladev and his father plot, have Devsena’s cousing killed and also are able to covince Rajmata that its Baahu who has hatched the plan to kill the king. Furious Rajmata without knowing the facts, orders Kaatapa to kill Baahu. Being a salve and performing duties as per King’s orders he kills Baahu. He returns back to Rajmata and narrates all the incidents of how Balladev and his father plotted the entire episode to have rajmata provide orders to kill Baahu.
Knowing the truth, Raajmata then proclaims that the new king will be Mahendra Baahubali, son of Baahubali. With Balladev and his men attacking Raajmata, Kattapa manages to save her and she escapes from the room. However while she tries to reach to the boat to save the new born, Balladev shoots and arrow at her and he plungs into the river. This is the same arrow scene which begins in part 1.
Coming to present day, know knowing the truth of his past, the story moves forward in how Mahendra Baahubali wages war against Balladev and wins back the kingdom after killing him.
Over all good movie, graphic work is excellent, Anushka looks real hot
