Story:- Amrendra baahubali(prabhas) and bhalla dev are cousins raised by the same mother, shuvagami(ramya) who is also reigning queen of mahishmati. Amrendra was orphaned in his childhood and despite the fact bhalla is her own son, the queen wants to drown Amrendra the king of mahishmati because she feels that he has the true makings of a ruler and binefactor. Bhalla is peeved his father and he conspire to over throw. baahubali. and they use kattapa(satyaraj) and the queen shivgamini as pawns in their game.
Public review:- the part is more prequel tha n sequel because initially tells the origin of baahuballi"s father who was origionaly meant to be the king of mahishmati. It is also delves on the love story between Amrendra and Devsena(Anushka shetty) who is the mother of mahendra baahubali(prabhas in a dual role) recounted in the folkrole-meets-aesop’s fablistyle, the plot is simple and carries the trivmphs over evil thoughhts forw and just like the first part did albert with some childish conspiracy theories added in the course the end comes together in a long drawn climax that could have been 10 minutes shorter.
But dont judge baahubali just savour it, it’s a visual extravaganza that india must feast on part-2, the conbclusion overously carries the equity of the first part on its shoulder and ups the seale on many counts especially in heroism baahubali has been sketched out as such a symbol of strength and power that he makes you root for him throughout prabhas is ter4efic as father and son ewhats more, this part provides an answer to the question uppermost in everyone’s mind for the last two years it tells you WHY KATTAPPA THE OLD FAITHFULL KILLED BAAHUBALI SENIOR.
Indian cineplus must salute rajamauli for his vision and ambition he once again gives us our benhur and Ten commandments experience rolled binto one of course it is CGI and VFX that grab you in your seat. But baahubali also takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride. The romance between Devsena and Amrendra has the titanic fervour while the performances of the lead cast are all believable it is PETER HEIN;s van damme split and some sweeps that set your spirits soaring
over all the movie is full of action, emotion, romance and visuals.
I just want to say to those persons who are saying that there is over visuals in the film that be supportive don’t be judgemental.
