Baahubali 2 is the sequel to Baahubali series. Baahubali 2 draws the curtains over the mystery over why Kattapa killed Baahubali. The story is about the ascendancy to the throne of ancient kingdom of Mahismati. The story is narrated by Kattapa to Mahinder Bahubali about how his father(Amarender Baahubali), was murdered by him( Kattapa) at the behest of Bhallaladeva. Bhallaladeva is the younger brother of Amarender Baahubali. Bhallaladeva has eyed the throne since his childhood. Bhalladeva has got himself anointed as king by playing many evil games with the help of his father. But the love of people of Mahismati for Amarender Baahubali created a sense of insecurity in Bhallaladva and led him to plot the murder of Amarender, in which he succeeded. Mahender Baahubali tooks revenge of his fathers murder and his mother’s harassment from Bhalla and his accomplices. The movie is the saga of heroism of Baahubali. The movies has also the element of love between Amarender Baahubali and princess Devasena, that love which is used by Bhallaladeva for seizing of throne from Baahubali.
The role of Amarender Baahubali and also Mahender Baahubali is played by the famous actor Prabhas. This role brought him many accolades internationally and thousands of proposals of marriage which he declined swiftly. The role of Devasena is played by Anuska Shetty and the famous role of Kaatapa is played by Sathyaraj.
The music of the movie is given by MM Keeravani. The music led to goose flesh and increase of heart beats and pulse rate in audiences. The music is also one of the reason for the attraction of Baahubali 2.
