Everyone know very well the fact that this brand has disrupted the business of many foreign companies operating in India, right from the inception. I feel proud that this is a solely an Indian company making many ripples in the markets they serve, be it in India or other foreign countries. That is right Patanjali has wider reach.
Well, does that suffice the product quality?
Hmm.i have personally tried this Atta thinking it would be free from any chemicals or maida for that matter and yes it is free from all those preservatives and chemicals but the main point is, it contains a large amount of GLUTEN.
Gluten, is a by-product of the wheat which is churned from wheat bran and it is not good for health, it is also not advised to consume when the person has Diabetics or a Blood Pressure. They dont mention the amount of Gluten present in the Atta, I have tested it and found out that it contains about 30-35% of Gluten.
Sure, that many of the other brands has same amount of Gluten present in their products but they atleast mention it on their package and some brand also has "No Gluten" products(Lets keep this discussion in an another review). Well, coming to Patanjali Atta, I respect the fact that they provide these commodities for much cheaper prices when compared to other brands, but on what account, compromising on health?
I request people reading this review to do some research before buying Wheat related commodities. Consumption of a Gluten regularly may lead to unwanted adversaries. My father is a diabetic and he consumed more Gluten unknowingly as the effect he couldnt control his diabetic for many years but after doing some research he has stopped taking Wheat products which has Gluten and his diabetics slowly got controlled.
Do not go blindly over the prices, first get to know about the product and consume it.
Have a healthy life.
