Danny Denzongpa heads the secret operation ‘Baby’. Akshay is one of the few, rather four left of the team carrying out operation ‘Baby’ after its members lost their lives while on duty. Their leads take them to Turkey, Nepal and Saudi Arabia. Anupam Kher is cast as a highly efficient computer professional who can break into security systems and create & manage websites in no time. Kay Kay Menon as terrorist Bilal Khan is very impressive. Madhurima Tuli as Akshay’s wife gracefully carries out her performance to perfection. Taapsee Pannu, the late entrant to the team ‘Baby’ looks gorgeous and very effective in fight scenes.
The movie has several tense moments and the entire drama is nicely executed. Akshay has once again proved that he is as fit today as he was when he entered Bollywood. He is the Khiladi who continues to deliver and wow you beyond your expectations.
Movies such as ‘D-Day’ and ‘Baby’ though inspiring, as Indians we know it is far from reality. We wish India carries out covert operations similar to ‘Baby’ which bypasses government protocols to counter terrorist activities in India. The way terrorism is now evolving in the world with their secret network spreading beyond geographical boundaries via internet & other technologies, and India fully knowing it is surrounded by failed countries, it badly needs a ‘Baby’, rather Babies.
