I placed an order from the UK to be delivered to my father-in-laws house where my child currently is with my wife.
Customer care called my father in law after 3-4 days and asked for ID and address proof before they can deliver, which wasnt mentioned anywhere on the website. I emailed them and even mentioned that if this was something they must have, I prefer to have the order cancelled. A lady called Clara responded quickly to apologise for the inconvenience and assured that she would take care of it. After 10 days we didnt receive the delivery.
I enquired with Clara again and got a response that they have dispatched it by Speed post and it might take 15-20 days (and its not a remote place). Checked website and it states 7-12 days timeline! Followed up after 2 days and asked them to check the status of delivery when Clara came back with an answer that the package has not been delivered because we didnt submit the proof of ID and address! What a joke!
I am now waiting for a refund. 2 days has passed, no confirmation yet. Hope this will go smooth.
