It’s a matter of 7 years back when I was in 10th standard. Which is unforgettable last tour with my high school friends in high school life. We visited many places hampi, ihole, pattadakallu, almatti and badami out of that one is badami. It was a educational tour. So teachers explained me many things about this place. Many years ago foreigners come in the India and destroyed the temples. It is very sad to listen but still that temples looking nice. It is the capital of chalukya dynasty. It is a best hestorical place in Karnataka. hestoricaly it is called as vatapi and presently called as badami. This place is very secure for tourists, Having good accommodation facilities and place for vehicle parking.
