I was there yesterday for dinner and I fail to understand what the fuss is all about. Its hype and hooplah, without any substance in the product or service. To begin with, place was crowded and entry control chap was rude, as if doing a favor for which we eventually have to pay.
They make you sit in a crowded hall, where you could make out if the meat on the next table is tender or not. Forget conversation, you will just hear a halthy buzz.
About the food, the less said the better. Portions are very small for the price they charge. Am sure per gram basis they must be in the league of Taj Mahal next door. we ordered paneer bhurji, mutton qeema, chicken raan and roomali roti. Paneer bhurji was granules of paneer floating in oil with raw masalas, in a filthy green quarterplate. We could count four 1by 2 cm size of mutton cubes in the kheema, rest was all bitter brown gravy and oil. The raan was burnt on the top, the meat raw from within, all drowned in orange color(for what reason I fail to understand).
The only saving grace was the wheat roomali roti, whcih was tender and less rubbery than a maida roomali roti. They have no other bread, no tandoori roti too for a place which has an array of tandoori dishes on its menu. and for this disaster, we shelled out upwards of a 1000/- bucks for 3 people. Strictly avoidable especially with people not used to oil and masala as this food is guaranteed to give you a bad tummy.
