Nakul ( Ayushmann Khurrana) , in his mid 20s, is happily in a relationship with his colleague ( Sanya Malhotra) , and hails from a middle class family. His father ( Gajraj Rao) , works in railways, while his mother ( Neena Gupta) is a home maker. His grandma ( Surekha Sikri) is the typical mother-in-law who finds faults in her daughter-in-law, while having praises for her son through-out.
However, the entire family splits when one day Nakul's parent discover that they are expecting their 3rd child together.
The way the plot moves is simple and relatable. The reunion of the family is shown without much melodrama, and that is a plus point. The realistic approach has kept the movie in viewers'good-movies list. The chemistry between Nakul's parent is way nicer and lovable than Nakul and his girl-friend's.
The topic of mutual-consent "Sex"or pregnancy at a later stage of life shall be spoken about or dealt with respect as is shown in the film.
