Badrinaths brideis a film that is full of social issues and Dharma Productions handled with full care. But handling handles here is quite smartly.
The story of this movie, where patriarchal society is dominated, is on the background of a small town like Jhansi and Kota. This movie is the story of a boy named Badrinath(Varun Dhawan), who is engaged in the search for a son of a moneylender and a bride for himself. He meets a girl named Vaidhihi in a wedding and then Badri falls behind to marry her. However, Vaidahi refuses to succumb to the pressure of society in relation to marriage. She is a small town girl, but she has her own ideas, ambitions, and the most important thing is to have a different courage to take a stand on any issue.
The character of Vaidehi is the main basis of the story. She is a very angry but true girl. He is pushed back, but he gets up again and comes forward. He keeps his dreams safe and nobody can fool him. Her father also has heart disease. Through Vaidehi, the film has raised many important issues, including issue of gender issues, womens rights and consensus. But the way in which the story is shown(expanded Song Sequins, Flashback and Cinematic Moments), they reduce the speed of the film. At one time it seems that all the characters are doing public service announcements, which seems quite fictional.
This is such a story that you can easily imagine the climax. So sitting in an indissoluble two-hour seat, waiting for that thing, which you already know, makes it quite uncomfortable. But, the films glare and its fun and funny dialogue keep you bound.
