I have just watched the movie and i’m giving a honest review.
PLOT: BKD begins as a cute sweet love story between Badri(varun dhawan) from jhansi and Vaidehi(Alia Bhatt) from kota.But the director understands the current tide of films that celebrate powerful, liberated women, so the film transform into a progressive story before turning cute-sweet again.
PERFORMANCE: Dont expect much from Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the movie and you wont be dissapointed. Laxmi Shankar played by Gauahar khan was average. Shweta Basu as Urmila has done a good justice to the role. al in all it was a average performance by the actors.this movie is a family drama.
MUSIC: Well the movie is the only thing which I liked in the movie. The songs Badri ki dulhania(title track) and tamma tamma are popular the movie.Although Roke na roke naina sung by none other than Arijit Singh is really romantic and melodies.
All in all don’t waste your time or money on the movie.This movie is same as that of any other romantic movies. If at all u have leisure time and want to watch the movie then don’t except much from the movie and you wont be dissapointed. Although I would not recommend this movie to any one else.
