Have been a regular at the Bageecha Restaurant for the past one year...
So what is it that is so special about this place that makes me going back there?..
Its a great place to jus be yourself and chill out with friends especially if you are in a large group..
The Food and the Drinks are dirt cheap compared to your Nandinis and Tamarinds..
No Parking Hassles.. Yes you heard it right.. There is ample parking space provided for..
Its got a charming ambience with seperate cottage like shacks to seat large groups and also an open air restaurant on the weekends... ideal for a candle light dinner :)
Okay down to the basics...
The service is very very fast but the waiters arent particularly helpful.. You have to run errands to get things done..
The food quality and quantity is great and worth the pie...
You can drink till you drop dead and you can be sure that nobody around is going to even bother about that.. :))
The Restaurant is disjoint into many sections. The Front portion is for people who come in large groups and cannot wait to strike a conversation.
Mind you this place can be quite noisy if you are with your girl..
I prefer the open lawn just behind the main restaurant. On a clear day you can have a superb candle light dinner without hurting your wallet ;)
The menu is not very different from the other North indian restaurants...I stick to a staple food course ( Fish fry, Chicken Noodles, Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Lollypop and Mutton Pepper Roast)
They taste quite good if not the best.
Finally the price.... For two I guess you might average around 200-300 along with a drink for a decent spread.
Try it if you feel like you need to get away from the city and spend a quiet evening with your friends or your girl friend..
