Want to party ???

This is a place which I had been to couple of times with a group.

I would recommend this only to large group of friends as its an okay place to chill out in a group but maybe its not a place where you go only for the sake of food.

A place far away

Located in the outskirts of Bangalore on the way to Whitefield, it is a great place to party with friends.

Please avoid this place during rainy season if you are not that adventurous as it becomes quiet muddy around the restaurant.

The only disadvantage of this place might be the distance. If you are a biker or love driving you could experiment coming down to this place. However for people living in and around Airport road its nearby say some 5 - 6 kms after the airport.

Pleasant to be in this place

This place is more like a modern version of a dhaba with thatched enclosures placed strategically around so that the customers can get enough privacy with their friends and family.

The ambience is the best thing about the place !! Its a nice drive down to this place. The thatched seating places are cool and you can see the occasional plane touching down as you are conversing with your friends.

During the summer evenings you have a good breeze blowing and you can relax without the thought of somebody waiting for you to finish and leave.

Compromise on the Food

Food is edible and liquor is cheap. That is one of the reasons parties happen here. After guzzling so much liquor one does not realize what is on the plate.

So the kitchen gets away with the okay quality of food :).

From what I have tasted, I liked the starters rather than the main dish. The quantity of the chicken seemed a little less as maybe there were always too many hands reaching for the non-veg dishes :).

I particularly liked the Peas Masala. Goes well with the drinks and it was very well made. You could also try the tandoori platter.

Yes there are options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians.. but I would rather you stick to Biryani and a safe side dish like butter chicken and maybe some starters and not experiment much. You could also try the dal which is not that bad.

Easy on the pocket !!

Again I am stressing that if you are going dutch and if you are partying it will be easy on your pocket and you will shell out the money the place is worth . Booze is cheaper than places like Golconda Chimney and other similar places.

Service is okay, I guess. However you might have to wait sometime for the main dishes. Starters and booze are laid down at the table pretty fast.

Should you come here ?

Well if you are an old timer in Bangalore and you have had your fill of pubs and restaurants in and around MG road , you could try this place .. you could also try this place if you are having a stag party .. with your friends ... :)
