Amitabh emotes excellently. His performance in BAGHBAN has outbeats his own performance in K3G and EK RISTAA. The chemistry between Hema and Amitabh does exist even to this day. The gorgeous lady has performed excellently.
The four sons (Aman Verma, Samir Soni, Sahil Chadda, Nasir) are okay. Of the three daughters-in-law Divya Dutta has performed well. One can’t help but wonder as to why Suman Ranganathan was cast as the mother of Rimi Sen. She looks as beautiful as her daughter. Salman Khan and Mahima have nothing much to do. Our usually angry Salman talks so patiently that for sometime I did wonder if this was Salman. Sarat Saxena, Asrani, Avtaar Gill are good. Paresh Rawal and Lillette Dubey are excellent.
Overall a good film. Family films have always worked. With Amitabh, Hema and a sentimental story line this film is sure to catch up with the audiences.
