Baghban is a generally good, thought provoking and moving, but never outstanding. This is the story of raaj and pooja ( amitabh & hema malini) who are married for iver 40 years and have four childrens living in india and one adapted son living in abroad.
The first half portrayes the love of the whole family and perticulerly the longstanding love of the elderly parents. But then, when Raj retires and ask their childrens to take care of him and his wife, they get a shocking replies.
The sons offeres live seperatly, each spouse with another son, and change spouse half yearly to another son. This is quite un believable and un realistic .
Then much drama and story happen but please see it in theatres as it worths.
