Bagittoday got my email ID from somewhere and since then has been sending me 2-3 emails every day on these special offers on premium brands.
A classic technique they are using to lure buyers is lead in with statements like’free or for Re 1/- only’ and when you get to the end of the deal your realise that if you buy some other item worth a few thousand then this item will come free. The marketing technique is to ONLY talk about the free offer in the promo instead of saying that’buy this and get that free’ - in fact you get emailers saying you have been selected for’XYZ item for free - click here to claim’ and then you realise in the end that if you buy other stuff several thousands then this comes’FREE’
However their post-sales service is simply abysmal. I liked an offer on Reebok with a few other items and ordered it and paid online with my CC. The committed delivery time was 2-3 weeks, but when I didnt get any delivery or even a single update after 3 weeks, I wrote to their customer care ID. Absolutely no response from the either. I have posted my query online on their website but no response still. Now, when I am desperately their call center number its forever BUSY.
Base on this experience, I would surely tell others - Please DO NOT buy anything from here, as they sell premium brands with pathetic service levels thus tarnishing the whole experience and also killing the brand image.
