FRAUD BY BAG-IT-TODAY AND RELIANCE LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY-
This is to bring into you notice about the fraudulent action being committed by Bag-It-Today and Reliance Life Insurance personnel.
Way back during January, 2012, I bought a holiday package from Bag-it-Today and it was told I will be able to avail the voucher for a list of hotels but neither the vouchers were valid nor did the address to which I was told to send the voucher to get a code for the vouchers to work. Nevertheless, I took it as a lesson and started warning people about the fraud.
Later in April 2014, I got a call from Bag It Today and they informed me that I have won the lucky contest and I will get Rs. 4, 20, 000/-. And I am among the lucky 27.
After few days, I got another call from a representative from Reliance Life Insurance Ltd. and he also informed me about this winning amount and also asked me to submit Rs. 30, 000/- (Rupees Thirty Five Only) as the 7% tax amount of the winning amount in the name of Reliance Life Insurance Limited. He also told me that this amount is refundable.
Then I got a bit suspicious as they really wanted me to claim my prize money. So I searched on the net and found one person faced a similar case. And due to his bad luck, he paid the amount and never received a single rupee back, neither the prize money nor the money which was refundable, even I had called him up to confirm. He warned me not to pay. This is a big fraud going around and fooling innocent people.
Please don’t be fooled by them with their sweet talks.
