I recently purchased "roti maker" from BagItToday, I received the product through a 3rd party vendor within 5 days. I had bought it as a present for my mom and when she unpacked the product to use it, it gave smoke/ fumes from the front side of the roti maker. I immediately called up BagItToday customer care with the complaint (within next day itself), however, to my surprise, customer care person was not even ready to listen to my complaint. I told her that I am not satisfied with the quality of product and want refund, but she started telling me that they don’t own responsibility as they supplied the product that I ordered. She started telling me that I need to train myself to cook roti properly and didn’t even acknowledge that the product is poor quality.
She started giving me lame excuses and tried to convince me to go get back to company through warranty for the product.
This website and people are in business only to take money and not own any responsibility for their service. They have eye catching "15 day Refund" policy, but there are conditions attached to almost all product types such as Fragrances, Beauty products, Jewellery, Swimsuits, Inner wear, Lingerie, Socks, Furniture, CDs, Pens, Books and Electronics items. Infact, all products come under this "no refund" conditions, thereby there is nothing that you can claim under 15 days refund!
Their "15 day Refund" policy is also a waste and eyewasher.
I have purchased online items through Amazon, Flipkart, ShopClues before but never had such a horrifying experience! Even other online sites had served wrong products, but they never asked so much questions before returning/ refunding the amount. BagItToday didnt even want to acknowledge that its a poor quality product and they have responsibility to refund/ change it.
