A neighbor of mine first introduced me to Baileys a few years ago.
I had made several batches of chocolate chip cookies and I had taken some down to her. When I got there she was having an after dinner drink( rum and coke) and she asked if I want to join her.
I explained that I didn’t really care for the rum and she said I have something that I know that you will like. She pulled out a bottle of Bailey’s Irish Cream and made me a drink that was to die for, it was very good.
The drink was very simple, she added ice to a glass, added
about 2oz. of cream and them filled the rest of the glass with Baileys. I was hooked.
I am not a big drinker, I like a glass of fine wine before I have dinner and sometimes an after dinner drink. It is at this time that I like to have the Bailey’s Irish Cream.
This is not something that I keep on hand, mostly because of the cost and the other because this way I can look forward to that special drink.
