I purchased this bike in 1997. At that time only KB125 stand on the road leaving all the bikes behind him. This bike gives more mileage than his older brother KB100 and more pickup as well. Suspension and brakes are very good. However, my bike’s engine baring was failed after one year (this is because of mis alignment done by a mechanic when adjusting chain at the Bajaj showroom). Of course, I got it replaced at free of cost (one year maintenance free).
But the bike suffers vibration at 40 - 60 kmph.I feel the chasis is weak for the powerful engine. Bajaj should have changed or modified the chassis for KB125 instead of using old KB100’s. Still my bike give around 55 - 60 kmpl without compromising its pick-up. Earlier it used to give 60 - 65 kmpl.
