This year, I opted to renew my car Insurance through their online portal, and went about doing that.
Though their portal was informative, and user friendly contrary it took away my money towards insurance premium, and did not generate the policy, as claimed by them.
My ordeal started here, called their customer service numbers, on the toll free, and their stereotyped response, "we are sorry for the inconvenience caused, we will escalate this to our concerned section, and they will revert, kept on and on for many days, with out any action.
Promises, followed by Frustrations, I had to follow it up, with their customer service team, thrice daily, finally I had a telephone contact of a local person in my city, to whom I took a chance, and he in turn sorted out the issues, and after a lot of agonizing wait, got the renewal processed.
Hence, please excise caution, while renewing online.
