What if BAJAJ and ALLIANZ are big names in their respective fields? Here in Indian insurance sector, these two organizations have joined hands to make fool of Indian customers.
I brought a ULIP of this company in 2005. the forms were signed with few big promises and courtesy. However the honeymoon ended with dispatch of policy documents. It seems the company belives that its duty is only to get the customer in and rest is customers responsiblity if he wish to keep the policy inforce or wants to know what is going on with his money.
Company is neither interested in sending premium notices to customers and nor can be trusted to inform its oncepreviledged customers about their investments. Moreover companys adminstration charges are enough to eat up all the gains your investment make.
My advise to everybody who are being chased by companys representatives to put their money in Bajaj Allianz, please pull up your socks to chase your agent later when youer premium date is close, or rush to find a branch(DONT TRY TO SEARCH ON WEBSITE, THAT IS TO MARKET ITS PRODUCTS, NOT FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE). You will be lucky if you can find address to a branch where you can deposite your premium to avoid your policy being lapsed(DOES THAT SOUND LIKE LIVING IN A MEDIEVAL ERA?).
If you wish to know, the status of your Equity linked investments, please visit the branch again and request for a statement. If you try to ask that on phone, people are content to provide you the bare minimum information and they are always in hurry to go for lunch or to hang the line.
To all those who think service industry is at its best now a days, note that I have not received even a single information letter or bullatine from company during this one and half year. I am advised to visit a branch whenever I want to check returns on my investment and to make a call to pay my annual premiums.
