Hamara Bajaj

I have used Bajaj scooters, the good old Vespa(named as Bajaj)and later Bajaj Chetak. I can say with confidence and experience that Bajaj vehicles are good performers. The greatest advantage with Bajaj scooters is the ease with which you can carry out minor repairs yourself. It is very easy to open the cover and reach its engine parts. Changing a gear wire was simple. The gear wire does break after long usage. In Bajaj it can be changed in a matter of minutes and without much difficulty. So also the accelerator wire. Wheel changing is very easy, not only the front wheel but also the back wheel can be changed without difficulty. If you encounter puncture on the way all you have to do is to replace the punctured wheel with the spare. You must always carry the tools in the scooter kit. I even opened the carburetter of my Bajaj scooter. In short servicing of a Bajaj product is easy and convenient.

I have also used Kinetic Honda scooter. This is also a good two wheeler. But I have not carried out even the simplest repair in this machine. Even Changing tyre is an exercise of great patience and labour. The rear wheel is bit easier to change, but even then lot of dismantling is required. But to change the front wheel much more time and effort is needed. Also the cost of each part is too much. While for the Bajaj most of the things cost a few rupees for the Kinetic the costs are at least ten times.

I believe Bajaj bike should also be user friendly like its scooters.
