Misuse of ECS mandate, wrong EMI charged !

I procured a 0% interest free loan from Bajaj Finance to purchase an LG washing machine on 31-Dec-2010. Per the terms of the loan agreement, my loan amount was 29, 400 for 0% interest free to be repaid in 10 installments of Rs. 2940. Of this 2 installments Rs. 5, 880 was paid immediately by card, and balance 8 installments of Rs. 2940, I signed an ECS mandate.

To my horror, I found the EMI claimed was 3032 in March 2011. I checked with my bank also, this is the amount claimed by Bajaj Finance - misuse of ECS Mandate, amounting to forgery ! If you visit Bajaj Finance website ( http://www.bajajfinservlending.in) and click on Complaint button to submit any complaint, it just doesn’t work ! They have conveniently screwed it up - so no complaints can reach. They also have an online Experia a/c for customtakeouters: there also there is an option to submit a complaint, I have tried to use this several times in last few months: the result is the same: it throws an error: ’Server Error in ’/’ Application.’ so no complaints can be submitted.

I have been writing emails to wecare@bajajfinserv.in and grievanceredressalteam@bajajfinserv.in for last 6 weeks: everytime they give a standard computer-like reply: ’your request is in process and it would be rectified as soon as possible.’ and weeks/months have gone by and no progress.

I have asked for a responsible executive to call and resolve the issue or allow me to escalate the issue to a senior officer - no way ! I talked to the person who signed up the loan agreement and he said he was just a front-end agent who signs up loans and his role ends there.

So much for the customtakeouter care BajajFinserv talks on their website !!!

Pls. don’t believe the claims made on the BajajFinservLending web site. They promise 0% interest free loan but cheat customtakeouters, misusing the ECS mandate. My request to innocent customtakeouters: never sign an ECS Mandate - post-dated cheques are fine.
