Bajaj Home loan & Customer Care horrible

I had home loan with IDBI and peaceful with it. On a fine morning Bajaj’s sales guys started bugging me to do Balance transfer and get various benefits. Initially were not interested and finally shared my property details.


First 3 weeks they sent various mails requesting for details and promises things went fine. Finally, I requested them to give loan only after July 12th as I had some issues with IDIBI to close loan.


Note, the smart Sales head made loan to log and generate check by June 30th, so that their sales can be better in June. I received the home loan check on July 21st and fund got utilized in 24th July. However, they started charging me EMI for entire June (They consider from June 30th as my disbursal date). I requested multiple times to refund the interest charged till 24th July, as I started using the funds from that day.


I got two loans now, one is for home loan and the other top up loan as well. For some reason Bajaj does not track its disbursal to customer in their systems, rather they keep asking us to give provide the statement, which is weird.


1.400SHL00480134( 35, 68, 000/-) : this got disbursed and check given to IDBI, originals given to Bajaj.


2.400SHL00480139( 3, 92, 000/-): Check not giving, however 2nd EMI is going to hit on Sept 5th, funny they did not issue check however charging EMIs


Issues:




  1. EMI for loan #400SHL00480134 charged from June 30th, where as it should be done from 24th July.




  2. EMI for loan #400SHL00480139 charged from June 30th, Ideally Bajaj should not have charged as yet to disburse the check.




  3. Top-up check not given, Initial promise from Bajaj was to handover check after receiving the originals from IDIBI, which already done. later changed stance and suggested me to release title deeds from IDBI(note they never talk about it earlier). I did release titles on Aug 14th and kept requesting your personnel to release check, now after releasing it I hear depositing title deeds with Bajaj, which was not mentioned any time. They do ask now my parent document which I never received from my seller.






I have been visiting Somajiguda, Hyderabad branch from 4 weeks and don’t see much use and commitments are always missed. Reached Bajaj’s customer care min 20 times and seems [B]things are so much broken between departments[/B] than solving problem.


Don’t see appropriate escalation channels to resolve issue. Three weeks after reaching highest possible escalation in the branch still it is stone walled. All I hear is waiting for approval. What a fun to hear it for weeks.


In a way it is horrible experience that I have ever come across. we-care mails does not result solution, call to customer care, always they say someone else is going to call, they call at their convenience if you are not available they close the ticket. There is no number where we could call directly and get things sort out. If we have issues with branch and escalate, guys in customer care tell after weeks to reach branch. Then what is the point in escalating?


They do ask me now for title registration, who will pay 60K due to this?
