Best Option Under 100k

I am writing this after completing 3500 kms in 3 months. I travel 60 km everyday (50% within city; 50% on highway). First few days, I could feel the bike was heavy on me(I am 5’7" M weighing 62 kgs) and was not adjusting to low seating. I even got fever due to physical pain and wind blowing through the helmet. Anyways, after 10-15 days, I was used to the sitting posture and was very comfortable riding it.

The bike has a pick up you need in a city and has a power to give you nice smooth ride on highways. Mind this, it is not a racing bike so dont ride it above 70-80 kmph even though it can clock top speed of above 100 kmph. I normally ride it around 60 kmph and gives me stable ride on highways.

The bike has a good built and is comfortable to ride long distance. (Not too long though). On milage, though people say it is good for 35-40 kmpl, I am regularly getting above 45 kmpl. In the last week I got 360 km for 500 rupee petrol (in Ahmedabad petrol price is rs 75 per liter) which means I got 53 kmpl.

Some Tips: Ride it well and at an uniform speed to keep the machine and you happy (for better mileage, ride it at around 60 kmpl); Keep the machine clean everyday to make the steel work shining. I have a black colour which looks too good when put on side stand.

Overall, it is the best buy for an indian cruiser. around 90k, 45 kmpl and bajaj brand. no need to think twice if if fits in your budget. Remember, you don’t buy such bikes regularly. It is different from the mass market vehicle (100-150 cc mopeds) :).
