I purchased my Avenger 220 on 28th January 2012. I used to ride only my father’s Activa before and I really needed my bike for my private journeys. I was naturally attracted to cruisers and I didn’t like sports bikes as such because of the former looks, classic style and comfort. After much research and reviews (including many from this site), I selected on Thunderbird and Avenger. Both of them looks almost similar. I went for a test drive for the RE first. Though I loved its style and riding the bike tended to become too noisy even around 60km/h. I am a person who always listen to mp3 while on the drive and this seemed unsuitable.
Hence I went for Avenger and I must say it suited almost all my expectations. Style, comfort and power. It’s also my first bike!
I am planning to go for long trips after its first service.
