I have owned an Avenger for 7 months and ticking. The bike is in great condition. I rode 350 kms from Coimbatore to Bangalore in 7 hours after having done only 650 Kms after delivery. After completing the journey solo, and resting for about 30 mins, I felt fit enough the make the journey back to where I had started from.
I bought this bike knowing its fuel efficiency. Considering the power it delivers, it would be unwise to expect anything close 50+. So its only fair to not have a high expectation in terms of fuel economy. Well if I had an R1 or a Buza I cant say my bike returns 40km to the litre could I?
I have taken sweeping turns on good roads at 100Kmph and the bike has held ground like none other. I cant ask for more. However I do feel that stock tyres dont do justice if the road is wet. Thats when its time for a replacement for one that displaces the water better.
This bike is a definite winner - All the way.
