After reading a no of reviews and being attracted to the retro modern looks of the bike. I finally decided to get myself an Avenger.little did I know that that’s is going to be the biggest mistake I could possibly make. Absolutely everything in this bike is troublesome.Right from the brakes to petrol tank cap.These days I only have time to visit the service station.Had to make many runs to the service station to tweak the rear brake, fogging of the fuel gauge and many more.Besides all this, even the sides of the front disk plate started wearing off, and when complained, it was checked and adjusted to an extent that the brake barely works.worst than rear drum brake now..
The problem with the petrol tank was something that I noticed lately and never imagined something like this could happen.what happened was when I filled up the tank completely and put the vehicle on side stand, petrol started leaking from the brim of the tank. I was in a fix and couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I tried again by opening the cap and putting it back pressing it hard this time but things dint work out even then.it was still leaking the moment I put the bike on side stand. I rushed to the nearest service station and after inspection and some trials with other tank cap I was told that this s quite normal. I was not supposed to fill the tank completely.if filled, it would leak. I was shocked and never believed it. I rather want to fill the tank completely and hit the road.
I would like to know if this is quite normal or this s something I should raise my voice for?
