Owners envy , Neighbor’s pride

This is going to be my my first review on MS.To start with I was a proud owner of Yamaha Enticer, tough very good bike with good mileage, looks, seating comfort and dealer satisfaction, however lacked the power, in the meanwhile I was dazzled with the AD which says “FEEL LIKE GOD”, and I decide to sell my enticer and buy this Bike, definitely unaware of the consequences.

I sold that bike which was barely 6 months old to go for Avenger, My first reaction to this bike was WOW, however on second day I observed some noise from the front wheel, I immediately go to the showroom and the say that it is of faulty disc brakes (Very unfortunate for me) as the did all the possible fruitless experiments on it for next six months to fix it.  I got it done from a local Mechanic in one shot.

Now let’s talk about the bike:

Looks: Looks are pretty impressive (Like mini Harley).4/5

Comfort: Very uncomfortable for long drives, you need to keep on changing positions every kilometer.(Enticer was 200% better than this).

Clutch lever: My fingers use to turn Black as it’s made of aluminum.

Engine: Good power to pull the bike, to overtake but makes lots of knocking sound at every gear, I did 125 KMPH on this bike initially but now it struggles to touch 90 also ( FYI I service my bike at every 1500 KMs)..

Handlebars: Looks good but good for nothing (your hands and shoulders will pain after sometime).

Fuel consumption: Amazing for this bike around 40-45 KMPL.in city and around 50 KMPL on highways. (Tough I did not buy this bike for mileage) I would suggest you to go for boxer that will give you much better mileage.

Chrome: Looks good only on new bike ( Its all rusted now).

Silencer: Styling is too good, however its rusted and a piece has come off and the irony is its not covered under warranty.

Braking: Though braking is adequate on average speeds of 40-50KMPH, and if you try doing it hard you can see the tail of the bike on your left side.

Service: Very poor ( Never trust those guys, they will not do anything even after complaining 100 times)..

Price: Fairly priced, I bought it for around 68000..

With my overall experience with this Bike of 2 years I feel like  DOG and not satisfied at all.

As this is my first review m not sure if I was able to provide complete details or not, but I request you to leave your comments so that I can write a better one.
