Bajaj avenger very style and powerful bike

Bajaj Auto introduced three new variants of Avenger family namely 220 Street, 220 Cruise and 150 Street. Street220 sees additions in the form of an all- black paint scheme with red highlights, mag wheels, black exhaust, black painted engine, new grab rail and a new instrument cluster.

The bike gets its power by a 219.9cc, air-cooled motor that churns out a peak power of 19PS at 8, 400rpm with a maximum torque of 17.5Nm at 7, 500rpm.

The bike is priced at Rs. 84, 000(ex-showroom, Delhi). Currently, the Avenger series hasn’t got any competition in India. It is a very stylish bike in India and it is drive very smoothly. So it is a very powerfull bike. Bajaj avenger is 220 model is very good and havy pickup. It is racing bike in India.Gearbox is already proven in Pulsar 220 and on this bike a cruising speed of 80-90 kmph can be easily maintained on highway.

The grunty engine becomes noisy and sometimes annoying over the speeds of 110 kmph though Bajaj engineers tried their best to keep vibrations upto the engine mounting bushes. The latest version of Bajaj Avenger is powered by Pulsar’s 220 cc DTS-i engine that produces 19 bhp at 8400 rpm and 17.5 Nm of torque. The carbureted engine is air cooled and also oil cooled mated to 5 speed gearbox.

A bike that looks like cruiser and is also practical for daily commute is what perfectly defines Bajaj Avenger. Borrowed design from Kawasaki Eliminator and powered by pulsar engine, Avenger had many changes over the years except styling add-ons like windscreen. Avenger is an alternative to Royal Enfield for a price as well as weight.
